Lead with Heart can offer different seminars and workshops for your group!
Grandparents: Leading froM behind
This retreat is designed for parents of adult children, who either already have grandchildren of their own or who are holding the space for grandchildren. Leading from behind is different than leading out in front. In this seminar, we will examine and explore the myriad ways in which grandparents make a contribution to their families, communities and the world. This very special time of life gives possibilities to offer leadership emotionally, financially and intellectually. Participants will leave the workshop with fresh insights into the nuances of leading from behind in order to offer wisdom and love in ways that can be received and celebrated.
EVOLVE: tAKE THE NEXT STEP
This seminar is designed for young adults (and old) who are ready to take the next step in their professional career – whether it be in the same job or in a new one, In this workshop, participants will take the time to study about leadership and learn from leadership greats. Balancing innovation and respect for tradition is the nexus of leadership in a profession. We will offer two tracks of leadership development during the seminar itself so that you can practice your new-found leadership insights in an environment that allows you to challenge and be challenged, to stretch and grow and to reflect and solidify next steps on your own path.
EDUCATORS: EDUCATING THE HEART AND MIND
Educators are responsible for enriching the minds of their students. Yet how important is the heart? There are all kinds of federal, state and local tests that we prepare our students for, yet there is no test for the most enduring lessons of all we impart – the lessons of the heart. Explore with other educators in a rich environment and a safe space to exchange ideas and practices about what works, where to draw the line and how to care for your students in ways that support their emotional and intellectual growth beyond your time together.
WOMEN: Women are special leaders
Women are special leaders and offer unique leadership skills. In this seminar, we take a deep dive to examine leadership assumptions and practices in traditional roles. We take the time to surface and articulate thought and practices in leadership that make women a different type of leader. We will hear from women leaders with expertise in their respective fields. Each participant will have the opportunity to reflect on and strengthen her leadership practices in the various roles she has been called to.
